Night Security

Work for Indiana's largest and most popular restaurant!? Das Dutchman Essenhaus began 47 years ago and hasn't stopped since.? We are a family owned business and operate an 1,100-seat, Amish-Mennonite restaurant, 89-room hotel, 4 unique gift shops and a theatre showcasing live theatre and music events, all on our property in Middlebury, Indiana.


We are currently hiring for the night security person.? Hours are 10pm-5am Tuesday-Saturday nights.??


Responsibilities:




  • Making periodic security rounds over the entire complex;


  • Light maintenance duties such as routine pool maintenance, etc.,


  • Table and chairs set up and take down in the Conference Center;


  • Responding to alarms and assessing course of action;


  • Completing nightly shift reports; and


  • Assisting guests.

Requirements:




  • Must be at least 18 years old;


  • Able to lift up to 50 pounds;


  • Possess a valid driver's license with good driving record


  • Be able to work independently with little supervision


  • Excellent communication skills





Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
