Summary:
Assists the General Manager in managing all aspects of the restaurant ensuring exceptional customer service and high quality food is served to create profitability.
This is accomplished by being a team-oriented leader, making quality decisions and instilling pride and accountability in staff members.
Other responsibilities include the management of operations including the execution of all Company policies, procedures, programs and systems as well as ensuring compliance with all federal, state and local laws.
Aids the manager in interviewing, hiring, disciplinary action and annual reviews of staff members of those departments.

Work as part of a team to lead and motivate staff members.
Actively work to meet predetermined goals set by manager/operations manager.
Communicate relevant information in a timely manner and maintaining confidentiality as required.
Ability to make sound decisions under pressure with little guidance to solve challenging scenarios.
Assist the manager with personnel issues as required or requested.
Direct, motivate and develop staff members through timely and specific feedback and coaching Able to adapt and change course of action when appropriate Work in a lead role with all event planning Assist with inventory counts Perform any additional duties as assigned by manager or operations manager Required Skills/Abilities:
Dedication to exceptional guest service Experience in managing, motivating, and scheduling staff Strong verbal/written communication and presentation skills Ability to interface with all levels of staff; Very good interpersonal skills Strong computer skills.
Able to work overtime including evenings and Saturdays.
Possession of a valid Indiana drivers' license; Occasional overnight travel necessary and willingness to work extra hours as needed or requested.
Education and
Experience:
Any combination of education, training, and/or experience equivalent to completion of a bachelor's degree with major coursework in business, marketing, communications or related field.
Physical Requirements:
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel and talk or hear.
The employee is frequently required to sit and reach with hands and arms.
The employee is occasionally required to climb or balance and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 35 pounds.
Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
Other Requirements:
Must be ServSafe Certified or be willing to attain certification in the first year of employment.
Must be able to withstand extreme cold or heat for a period of time.
Must have good computer skills.
Must be able to schedule staff.
Salary:
$29 per hour.
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
