Quality Control Technician Summary This position is responsible to ensure product compliance to Company standards, compile necessary data, prepare required reports and documentation and perform assigned duties.
Make recommendations to quality management to improve quality inspection processes and standards.
Drug Screening required.

Essential Duties &
Responsibilities:
Perform final inspection of all products to ensure products meet specifications prior to shipment using diagrams, bill of materials and checklists Taking pictures of components for the orders Documenting and placing in correct files or folders Notifying Production Manager of any problems found Job Duties:
Record and document data collected from each order Interact with department management, production, and other inspectors as needed Daily communication with Supervisor on product defects Send bad products back to production to be fixed before allowing products to be shipped out Contribute to a team effort by accomplishing quality and timely results Work with Warehouse/QC Manager and Production Manager to develop more efficient processes and higher quality standards Make quality decisions (accepted or rejected) using diagrams, bill of materials and checklists to ensure product specifications are meet Reviewed production records for accuracy and compliance Perform routine quality inspection operations Maintained and organized all records, documentation and other files associated with quality procedures and inspection tasks Monitored operations output and associated production standards Accept or reject products after full quality inspection and prior to customer shipments Remove and document all rejected products appropriately from thorough understanding of guidelines Interact with quality manager, other quality team members and production as procedurally outlined when necessary for correct issue resolutions Keeps measurement equipment operating by following operating instructions and calibration requirements and calling for repairs Maintains a safe and healthy work environment Assist in Shipping, Receiving and Warehouse as requested Other duties as assigned Knowledge & Skills:

Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing Ability to interact with employees in a professional manner Ability to speak and write English fluently Ability to work independently and with a team in a fast-paced and environment with emphasis on accuracy and timeliness Ability to perform mathematical computations such as percentages, fractions, addition, subtraction, multiplication and division quickly and accurately Basic Computer skills.

High school diploma or GED One year of applicable experience preferred Basic Math skills Some Machine Shop schooling preferred Physical Demands This position requires manual dexterity to properly and safely manipulate tools and controls.
This position requires frequent walking and standing; occasional sitting, climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching and crawling.
The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
