Job Description:
As a Quality Control Technician, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality and compliance of products through various testing and inspection processes.
Your responsibilities will include:
Camsizer Testing:
Conducting testing using Camsizer equipment to analyze particle size distribution.
Ro-tap Testing Material:
Utilizing Ro-tap equipment to assess and flag material as per quality standards.
Sample Collection Off Line:
Collecting samples from the production line for further analysis and quality checks.
Vulcan - Ash Content:
Performing ash content testing using Vulcan equipment.
Manual Records for Each Equipment:
Maintaining detailed manual records for each testing equipment used, documenting results and observations.
Clean Down Lab:
Ensuring the cleanliness and orderliness of the laboratory and equipment.
Scrap - Empty Barrel to Rework Area:
Properly handling and managing scrap materials, transporting them to the rework area.
Retain Sample Collection/Organization:
Collecting and organizing retain samples for future reference.
Forklift Certification:
Operating forklift equipment safely and efficiently, holding a valid forklift certification.
Visual Color Inspection:
Conducting visual inspections to assess color quality according to specifications.
Compression Testing:
Performing compression testing on samples to evaluate product strength.
Size Measurements and Weight Verification:
Accurately measuring product sizes and verifying weights against established standards.
Level Testing:
Conducting level testing to ensure product consistency.
Maintain Running Reject Log w/Reasoning:
Keeping a detailed log of rejected items with clear reasoning for quality issues.
Approve Parts from Day Before:
Reviewing and approving parts from the previous day that meet quality standards.
Reject Non-Conformance:
Identifying and rejecting materials that do not conform to quality specifications.
Flag Bad Materials:
Clearly marking and flagging materials that do not meet quality standards.
Qualifications:
Communication Skills:
Ability to effectively communicate with supervisors and management regarding quality-related information.
Physical Ability:
Capable of lifting up to 25lbs, walking, climbing, and performing physical tasks as required.
Language Skills:
Proficient in reading and writing in English; bilingual skills are a plus.
