4K a year Job Description Embedded Software Programmer (Multiplex Systems) Summary This position is responsible for creating software programs to facilitate the transmission of messages over the CAN bus using the RV-C protocol.
Work individually and with a team to maintain quality standards of control units and other network devices.
Control and integrate with advanced systems such as HVAC and electrical controls using touch panels, switch panels and other devices.

Required Qualifications 2 years of applicable work experience.
Familiarity and experience with Microsoft Office including Outlook, Teams, Word, and Excel.
Working knowledge of DC and AC electrical systems.
Knowledge of C programming language along with a firm grasp of programming principles Must be well organized and a self-starter Must be able to follow detailed instructions Must have the ability to identify and solve problems and make logical decisions Must be able to work with precision and a high level of accuracy Detail oriented, professional attitude, reliable and able to focus on task at hand Possess strong time management skills Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing Ability to work independently and with a team in a fast-paced environment with an emphasis on accuracy and timeliness High school diploma or GED Desirable Qualifications 1 year of applicable programming work experience.
1 year of applicable CAN protocol work experience.
Post secondary education in programming.
Physical Demands This position requires manual dexterity to manipulate tools and controls properly and safely.
This position requires frequent walking and standing, occasional sitting, climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, and crawling.
The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
