The HR Coordinator will also participate in interviewing, orientation, training, performance evaluations, and company events.
You will maintain human resources records and documentation, data entry tasks, answer human resources phone calls and emails.
Additionally, the human resources coordinator is responsible for daily administrative tasks including filing, faxing, copying, and organizing departmental files.
Most of your time will be spent working with computers in an office environment.
Duties:
Assist in projects, such as; HR events, benefits open enrollment, employee communications and company-wide meetings.
Answer employee questions regarding forms and procedures.
Gather, organize and file paperwork for employee records.
Assist with general human resources clerical duties, such as creating personnel files and processing applications.
Post jobs, conduct phone screens, and schedule interviews.
Manage new hire paperwork, inquiries, and the onboarding process.
Send reminders for new hires' benefits eligibility enrollment date, collect benefits forms, and check that they are complete and accurate.
Ensure new hire packet content is current and up-to-date, including application, I-9, etc.
Ensure required employee documentation meets compliance standards.
Process employee information changes (payroll changes, address changes, tax withholding, etc.
).
Notify all necessary parties of changes.
Assist in creating and conducting learning and development programs for employees.
Serve as a productive team member in drafting policies, standard operating procedures, memos, and special projects.
Stay current on governmental requirements and laws.
Liaison between payroll and employees in resolving issues and inquiries.
Manage correspondence by answering emails and sorting mail.
Assist in planning and arranging events and creating flyers.
Maintain employee confidence and protect operations by keeping human resource information confidential.
Candidate Requirements:
High School Diploma 1 to 3 years of office clerical experience Stable employment history Excellent oral and written communication skills The ability to multitask The ability to work independently as well as part of a team Proficient in the Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint) Job Type:
